PoLeS aPArt

Antartica is a high, ice covered landmass. It is the opposite to the Arctic and the size of the Antartica is twice from United States. In there, the temperature is 30 degrees colder than Arctic. So. very very colder. And because of the area is large, the pole to devide two part. They are the south pole with 10,000 feet high that monthly mean temperature run well below zero and the the north pole that mean temperatures often rise above freezing. At both poles, daily temperatures may drop far below the monthly mean and the climate in every pole is different. So that, the animals and plants that live in there are different too. For example, in Arctic, there are many plants and foxes, bears, etc for animal. Then, in Antartica there are very flew plants, like tundra, algaes, etc and penguins populate. More than 4,5 million square mile of ice sheet cover the area, so Antartica usually called the storehouse of 85 percent from the total world supply of ice. The ice cap is very thick, averaging nearly 8,000 feet And the volume of ocean will be increase, if the ice in the both poles are melting and the atmosphere will be changes with extreme in every place.
